City of Glasgow Swim Team is Scotland’s leading swimming club and is now back in the water in search of new members! We are currently looking for swimmers who are aged 7-10 years old who are in, or have recently been in swimming lessons, to join our newly formed Junior Academy Squad.  Such children looking to take the next step in their swimming progress need to be able to confidently swim 25m of at least two, or ideally, three different strokes, and be able to receive instructions from one of our professional coaches without a parent being present.

Our exciting new Academy programme starts with two simple 1 hour sessions per week at the famous Tollcross International Swimming Centre, home to many of the country’s top swimmers and host venue for the Commonwealth Games and European Championships.  Our expert professional coaches will teach you how to improve your swimming skills using the best most up to date methods and techniques.  You’ll also have great fun working in groups with children of a similar age and standard, learning to be part of a team, as well as increasing your fitness, stamina and speed.

Our environment is fully Covid compliant, with all the necessary procedures in place to keep everyone safe.  All our coaches have professional qualifications, PVG background checks and up to date Safeguarding certificates.  Lifeguards are also always on hand at every session should there ever be an emergency.

To find our more and set up a free ‘come and try’ session, contact our office by emailing or phoning 0141 287 5447 between 10:00am-2:00pm most weekdays or 3:30-7:00pm Wednesdays.  Places are limited so don’t delay.  Contact us now!
